January 9, 2011 - Return of the King as LFC lost to ManUtd 1-0 in FA Cup 3rd round, but produced a respectful performance!!!

Kenny Daglish, the legend player and manager of the glory LFC in the 80's, returned to football management as Liverpool manager for the rest of the season after a decade outside of football management. The last manager capable of leading Liverpool to league title was him. It was 20 years ago. After his Liverpool career, he led Blackburn to Premier League title and led Newcastle to 2nd in league. His last managerial job was being head coach of Celtic. There would be no quick fix for Liverpool nor can the King lead Liverpool back to succeed overnight, but there would be no LFC fans disagree with the idea of the Return of the King! At least, there should be no more ineffective long-ball tactics which never suited the teams' strength. All we LFC die-hard fans hope is that King Kenny can lead LFC back on the right track with a few good buys during the January transfer window. Our biggest need is 2 wingers and a striker in my opinion. Good luck!
