18 year old English young star CMF joined LFC from Charlton after LFC won the his signature against several top premiership clubs. Shevely was actually signed by Benitez before his termination for his talent as well as local player status. Shevely is described as a complete CMF who has great vision in passing, energitic and possess great confident in his game even at very young age. In fact, his game style was compared to Gerrard's style during his young career. He has been playing a leader role for Charlton in Championship 1 before his arrival.
In the pre-season friendly so far, Shevely has been one of the best performers for LFC. He certainly fits the CMF role with greater passing ability than Lucas and Spearing. Obviously, Shevely adapts to English game even better than Aquilani. I can see Shevely obtained a key bench role for LFC in his debut season and surpass all expectation as most people may only regard him as a future prospect. Shevely will be future LFC star but even for now, he will also play an important part in LFC for the 2010/2011 season.
